Ondanks dat ik al een tijdje niets meer heb gepost, ben ik wel blijven lezen op dit forum (vind het namelijk erg interessant). Ik zag net een draadje voorbijkomen over het gebruik van de pil van bloeddonors en of dat kwaad kan. Uiteindelijke conclusie was dat het geen kwaad kon wat prima is en wat ik helemaal begrijp. Zelf ben ik echter altijd erg sceptisch over het gebruik van medicatie en heb me er ook heel bewust grondig in verdiept. Mijn exacte mening zal ik voor me houden, maar ik wil even uitleggen en benadrukken dat het waarschijnlijk wel degelijk kwaad kan te voedden van een donor die medicatie gebruikt. De reden hiervan is dat er vaak veel hulpstoffen worden gebruikt in medicatie die soms in kleine hoeveelheden al kwaad kunnen (zeker als je bijv. wekelijks van dezelfde donor drinkt om maar even wat te noemen). Ook kan er een allergische reactie optreden door een stof (hulpstof of werkzame stof) uit de medicatie en daar is zeker maar een heel klein beetje voor nodig in sommige gevallen. Om even wat voorbeelden te noemen waarom medicatie die relatief onschuldig lijkt wel degelijk kwaad kan: Inmiddels is bekend dat het gebruik van de pil kan leiden tot een trombosebeen; er is een bepaald antibiotica dat heel onschuldig voor huidproblemen werkt, maar waar ook oa leverfalen en onvruchtbaarheid door kunnen ontstaan... Hoe klein het risico ook mag zijn, echt alsjeblieft mensen, drink geen bloed van donoren die medicatie gebruiken. Ik snap zelf heel goed dat die kans ook wel degelijk echt heel klein is bij alleen af en toe wat bloed drinken van een donor die het gebruikt, maar soms is er maar echt heel weinig nodig om reactie te geven. Natuurlijk staat het iedereen vrij om te geloven wat hij of zij wilt, maar deze waarschuwing is bedoeld ter voorkoming van problemen door onbedoelde inname van medicatie.

Despite the fact my English isn't that good, I would like tot explain the danger of blood donors who are using medication also in English because I really belief that it could be pretty dangerous. So... However I didn't post messages within this forum for quitte a while I'm still reading because I think it's pretty interesting. I just saw a thread that explains the usage of the pill by blood donors en they wondered if it could be harmfull. The final conclusion was that it could do no harm wich is great and I completely understand. However, I have always been very sceptical about the usage of medication and I have been researching it for a while now. My complete opinion I will not share, but I will explain that I think it can be definitely harmfull to feed from a donor who's using meds. The reason that it could be harmfull is because of the use of several excipients and sometimes those could already be dangerous in small amounts (certainly the risk increases when you drink more often from the same donor ofcourse, like once a week for instant). Also there could appear an allergic reaction by one of the ingredients in the meds (could be a exciptient or the active ingredient as well). To show some examples from meds that seem quitte harmless, but aren't actually at all: The pill can cause a thrombosis leg and there is a certain antibiotic to threat some innocent skin-problems but it can also cause liver faillure and infertility. It doesn't matter how small the risk might be, please people, just don't drink blood from those who use meds. I truly understand completely that the risks with such a small amount are very tiny, however sometimes a bit is al what it takes to cause a reaction. Ofcourse everyone is allowed to believe in whatever he/she wants, but this warning is meant to prefend problems by unintended intake of medication. (I hope the message doesn't contain to much grammar defaults and typo's...)
